365 updates pending but no visual notification of updates in Jaunty Beta

Bug Description

Je n'ai eu aucune notifications comme quoi des mise à jour était prête pour mon PC alors que en installant un programme en console je vois que 365 mises à jours était prête pour mon PC, puis en allant voir dans le gestionnaire de mises à jours je vois ces 365 mises à jour.

While this person receive no visual notification of updates, there was 365 in the terminal. Then he checks in the update manager he saw those 365 updates.

I'm not sure but this is not a bug as in jaunty the update notification is disabled by default.

I'll mark this bug as a duplicate of bug 332945 since it's a complaint about having no visual notification about available updates and that is being discussed in the other bug report already.
