Bug Description
After Upgrade to 9.04, the CPU Frequency Scaling Monitor reports:
"CPU frequency scaling unsupported"
"You will not be able to modify the frequency of your machine. Your machine may be misconfigured or not have hardware support for CPU frequency scaling."
After manually loading powernow-k8 and adding a new CPU Frequency Scaling Monitor to the panel, everything works fine. Apparently auto-loading of powernow-k8 fails, but used to work in previous releases.

For some reason, an old kernel was being loaded, therefore the powernowd- initscript was looking for modules in the wrong directory (kernel/cpufreq i.s.o. kernel/ cpu/cpufreq) . Re-installation of kernel 2.6.28 and powernowd fixed the problem.
