Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

When first installing a Flash plugin, an unhelpful dialog is popped up. It says "Choose a plugin for media type application/x-shockwave-flash" and then presents you with three choices.

It doesn't explain what this means, what you're doing, what the difference is between the plugins, or anything. All it says for each plugin is "No description found in plugin database".

1. The description above the selection box should be much more verbose. If it's a generic description for any media plugin, it can still explain that a plugin is needed to view a certain type of file (preferably written out in English, with the MIME type in parentheses).

"Some media on this page cannot be displayed without installing a plugin for Firefox. Please choose one plugin for Shockwave Flash media (application/x-shockwave-flash)" would be at least a small improvement.

2. Then each plugin should have an honest description of what it does and what it's capable of.

"This is the official plugin made by Adobe, etc. etc"

"This is GNU's version and does this and this but not this"

we added a one line description now in jaunty. if you have a chance to check, please verify that this is good enough (if its not, please suggest what exactly to write there as its not really easy to explain the difference).
