Binary package hint: compiz
(compiz) sticky window cause problem when moving between desktop
to reproduce:
1. enable window rules plugin
2. choose one window class to set sticky
3. i'm using desktop wall
4. try to move that sticky window to workspace 2 (drag)
5. BUG: when switching to workspace 2, mouse X become 0 but window X still continue last position in workspace 1
if we continue to drag right and drop.. window will disappear

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
