Bug Description

when i tried to run this command:
  $ ubuntu-bug -p x11proto-composite
i got an error message that x11proto-composite doesn't exist
so i'm sure this bug was not in that package

but i have no clue what package this is related to
here is what i was doing around the time the errors happened
sudo apt-get install -y libesd0 libsdl1.2debian-oss
sudo apt-get install -y build-essential binutils linux-headers-`uname -r` gawk libtool libgtk2.0-dev

prior to that i had been following the steps on this page, all the way down to the above 2 commands i listed
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/OpenSound

and prior to that i had accidentally turned my system's power off while linux updates were being installed thru the little red arrow auto-updates that you get in the task bar sometimes. shortly after that problem i got errors with everything i tried to do and had to delete everything in /var/lib/dpkg/updates/0 and then run this to fix, 'dpkg --configure -a

the system said i should have a file to attach but i have no clue where to find it either
if you know how to help me find it please send me an email with the subject line:
"ABOUT YOUR UBUNTU BUG REPORT" so i will be sure to see it amongst all the spam and junk i get. thanks. i would really like to help report this bug so it can get fixed

i was just trying to fix my sounds, they haven't worked right since gutsy and i'm getting so frustrated with this process and i am so stupid when it comes to reporting things that i never get my issues fixed. i'm sorry i can't help more.

i have ubuntu intrepid with linux kernel 2.6.27-7-generic
