Bug Description
Here's the setup :
Host : Intrepid Ibex amd64
Client : Jaunty Jackalope amd64
Machine : kvm
Command line :
kvm -name "Jaunty Beta" -m PC -smp 1 -boot c -alt-grab -no-quit -m 1024 -net nic -net user -snapshot -std-vga Image.raw
Problem : Boot crashes after grub selection...
It works perfectly with
kvm -name "Jaunty Beta" -m PC -smp 1 -boot c -alt-grab -no-quit -m 1024 -net nic -net user -snapshot Image.raw
i.e. without -std-vga ...

There is not enough information to troubleshoot this bug as written... if you're still able to reproduce this bug under Karmic, could you attach some additional data? For Display problems it's typical to look at Xorg.0.log and lspci -vvnn. For crashes you generally need to get a backtrace from whatever crashed (kernel, xorg, etc.)...
