sound on Thinkpad X60 dont work well on 9.04 Beta

Bug Description

On Thinkpad X60 we have three sound buttons, that won't work on 9.04 beta. The work wihout any problem on 8.10! And the sound is very quiet. When i have on the highest i sound very quiet.

You're using OSSv4's hdaudio driver, which is not officially supported by Ubuntu.

I have run sudo apt-get autoremove oss-linux now, so OSSv4 is now removed.

Now the sound working, but the sound controllpanel on the panel don't change when i hit the sound buttons on the computer, and the notifyose are not working when i hit the buttons. But the sound working, but you can't see any on the computer that i change the sound with the sound buttons on the computer.

jackweil, why are you pasting to this bug report? You don't have the same
audio hardware as the original reporter, and your Master element is muted.
Further, you haven't actually stated anything regarding what your bug
is...
