unable to change screen resolution

Binary package hint: xorg

my sis laptop is unable to change the screen resolution. This is the beta of ubuntu 9.04. Before you could always change the xorg.config. that doesn't work anymore so i am stuck with a screen resolution of 800x600. very annoying when you want 1280x800. if you need anything, mail and i will post is as soon as possible. i included the xorg.config file. Thanks for the help in advanced.

Please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn`, and attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file from after reproducing this issue. The output of `xrandr --verbose` would be worth reviewing too.

if used the dirver from Bug #301958. now the screen settings are anabled. Thanks for the attention and i hope the driver will be used in the next editions.
