Pointer can not return from second display

Bug Description

1) Configuration

Jaunty Beta i386 updated as of midnight 4/7 US/Eastern.

Alternate Install CD.

DELL D620, nvida Quator NVS 110M.

Primary monitor is laptop LCD 1440x900.

Secondary monitor is DELL 2001FP 1600x1200.

nvidia restricted drivers 173 and 180.

Attached xorg.conf used, nvida config crashed trying to modify the default config.

2) Problem

Once the mouse pointer is moved to the second display it can not be returned to the primary display.

Same problem occurs with Karmic (up to date as of today) amd64 and nvidia 173 and 185 drivers.

Works find in Intrepid, which I have been stuck with.

Thanks for including the attached files. Could you also include your /var/log/Xorg.0.log (or Xorg.0.log.old) from after reproducing the issue?

Please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn` too.

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.
