Bug Description

My machine has no bluetooth capabilities and upon shutdown some junk characters are printed after it is stopped.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Boot Ubuntu .
2. Go to System -> Log Out.
3. Choose Shutdown then press OK.

Expected results:
* Stopping Bluetooth Service...

Actual results:
* Stopping Bluetooth Service...
sdpd hcid

Additional Information:
Turning off the bluetooth service using update-rc.d makes this go away.

those are not junk but rather the services that are being stopped

Well that will teach me not to look in the initscript first...

OK I would like to change this bug to: "bluez-utils initscript should indicate overall status". The samba initscript does not indicate the individual shutdown of smbd and nmbd but rather just says:

 * Stopping Samba daemons... [ ok ]

I would like to file a request for bluez-utils to do the same (mainly because it looks neater).

The attached patch accompishes the request, although I am unsure of whether it should be applied. I have left the echo statements in place for restart, as this has obvious utility.

With splashdown, the output is normally invisible.

Bug #43573 has a much better patch for the same issue.
