Bug Description

I installed Dapper Drake Flight 5 on my Dell Latitude D810 notebook, everything went fine with the install. However after install was done I booted into my Ubuntu Linux and when it came to boot X or GDM it crashes bigtime, I have to shut my notebook off by pressing the on/off button.

I tried booting using "Recovery" in grub menu to take a look at the logs, nothing unusual to be found there. Then I tried to start X manually with command "startx" but the system crashes again.

I also updated my linux install by doing apt-get update and apt-get upgrade, but same problem as before.

Not sure what I can say more, nothing appears to be unusual in the logs, no errors at all.

My graphics card is ATI X600 128 MB RADEON.
