movie full screen stretch

Some videos are improperly scaled.
I use windows and a 16:9 lcd with 1280x768 and when playing a 640x272 video in Elisa, I have very very large black space above and below it and the image looks funny. The video is
When playing the same movie in mplayer for example or other video player, the above and below black spaces are less than half than in Elisa.
How can I set the video or all videos to stretch full screen both horizontally and vertically without keeping the aspect ratio of the video file?

This feature is not yet supported.. Thanks for the suggestionn though. One nice thing we could do is add an action in the player control ribbon, allowing the user to interactively adjust the aspect-ratio of the video drawable.

Are you in fullscreen or window mode? If you're in window mode, can you give us the window size?

Is that problem appearing with all the videos or just with one file? If it's just one file, can you give us a link to that problematic video?

Can you please also attach a screenshot of Elisa so that we can visually see what's wrong?

This is happening with all videos.
It's full screen.
