Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Can you try to reproduce this bug with dvdbackup 0.4.1-1? You can either use Ubuntu 9.10 or grab this package for Ubuntu 9.04 from my backports PPA: https://launchpad.net/~bdrung/+archive/backports

On the same DVD I have the same result, I have tried also another DVD and it works fine.
