Using KDE 3.5.10

Needed a GPG key, so I used kgpg to create a key. I used the "é" character in the passphrase.
When trying to sign a message, I typed my passphrase, and acces was denied.
I created another dummy keypair, with a simple passphrase without "é", and another with the "é".
Unlocking worked only for the first, the second one did not work, nor with kgpg nor pinentry.
I also noticed that the kgpg prompt adds 2 dots when typing "é".

Expected :
Usable key, or mention "don't use accentuated chars"

What happened :
unusable key uploaded to keyserver.
