Hi,

This problem is described in Debian bug report #522681 [1], and affect all package depending on libasis-dev (2007-4) in Jaunty.
It will be corrected upstream by Ludovic Brenta for gnat-4.4 series.

For those who want a working libasis-dev (2007-4) in Jaunty (to be able to build adacontrol, adadesigner, ...), i've publish a working one in my PPA [2].

Declining this for jaunty since there doesn't seem to be any interest in working on it. If someone fixes this for karmic and wants to SRU, feel free to reopen the jaunty task.

Hi,

well, the problem is really simple to solve,

all that have to be done is to rebuilt & publish asis - 2007-4 source package that provide asis-programs, libasis-dev and libasis2007 packages ; because it have not been rebuilt with the latest jaunty gcc.

Then all packages that depends on libasis-dev can be rebuilt & publish with success.

I'm interested in working onit has i already solve the problem on my Launchpad PPA, or may be i can assist someone to do it (as it only consist of rebuilding packages)

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Lucid Lynx.

This is a significant bug in Ubuntu. If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please do steps 1 and 2 of the SRU Procedure [1] to bring the need to a developer's attention.
