Bug Description

Though I've noticed the answer to Question #65671 said multiple Wubi installations aren't possible... I'd still like to suggest to the Wubi developers to think about such a feature.

It seems like this could be done with only minor tweaks to the Wubi code (but I may as well be way off with that assumption). You'd only have to change the hardcoded path of %driveletter%:\ubuntu and tweak the Windows boot.ini file accordingly (alongside the grub menu.lst). (Maybe the Wubi uninstaller would be a the bigger problem to change accordingly...)

This would be very useful in order to install/run/test/triage different *buntu-based distros on one and the same PC. I, for one, would like to have a stable Ubuntu Jaunty as well as the upcoming development versions of Mythbuntu, Kubuntu, Edubuntu, Xubuntu and Studio on one and the same Notebook that I can carry along anywhere.

Also, I've been asked already the 3rd time by friend or colleague to convert his Windows netbook into a Linux netbook. I've always had some problems with some of the hardware support. With Multi-Wubi I could install *buntu-lpia, *buntu-mid, easypeasy or whatever side by side and compare directly.
