Hi Sylvek,

  executing action "/etc/acpi/actions/lm_ac_adapter.sh ac_adapter ACAD (laptop mode?)

Could you attach that file (it shouldn't exist on a Ubuntu machine...) and also find you what is calling it with:

  grep -l ac_adapter /etc/acpi/events/* | tee /dev/fd/2 | xargs cat

and paste the output. And can we find out what version of 'acpi-support' you have:

  dpkg -l acpi-support | awk '/^ii/{print $2,$3}'

Many Thanks,

Can you try to find out who 'owns' these files:

  $ dpkg -S '/etc/acpi/*lm_*'

eg. If they belong to a package that shouldn't be there we can possibly try to conflict with them.

I think we might need to add a dependancy on greater-than-a-particular-version of laptop-mode-tools (one that doesn't contain crack).
