Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

When I try to use the pop up menu of GNOME Do, I can't see it because it gets displayed under the window that was focus when Do gets invoked. This only happens when Compiz is loaded.

What is expected to happen:
When you invoke GNOME Do and press <Down> a menu with actions appear.

What happened instead:
The menu is hidden by the last focused window.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Launch gnome-do.
2. Launch Gnome Terminal.
3. Move Gnome-Terminal so that the top-left corner of the window is at the center of the screen.
4. Press <Super>+<Space> to invoke GNOME Do.
5. When the GNOME Do window appears, press <Down>.
6. ???
7. Profit!

Notes:
This bug seems similar to #355330, but the workaround described doesn't work.

Distribution: Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04
Compiz version: 1:0.8.2-0ubuntu6
GNOME Do version: 0.8.1.3-0ubuntu2
