Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

I have reproduced the following on two separate machines:
1) ASUS A6Rp laptop
2) ASUS Eee PC 901

When installing Jaunty 9.04 Beta, formatting partitions to Ext4 crashes Ubiquity at about 97%. It restarts X and the login screen appears. GRUB is not installed, and the system is not usable.

If formatting partitions as Ext3/2 it all installs OK, and the system is fine.

HI Colin

Sorry, but I wasn't able to re-test this in time.

I now have the final release of Jaunty 9.04 and can confirm that this is no longer a problem. Ext4 partitions format fine!

Please mark this as no longer a bug.
