align cartrigde doesn't print numbers of the options

Bug Description
I upgraded to Ubuntu Jaunty Beta 1 and now i have HPLIPS 3.9.2
I tried to align the cartridges but the printed sheet doesn't have the IDs of the rows (A-H) and the first 2 rows are just printed in red.
After the sheet is printed I cancel and try again but the printer stays in "busy state" (Unable to communicate with device is in an error state). After a while it normalizes.
