connection is sometimes not available

Bug Description

I use ubuntu 9.04

Sometimes I turn on the pc and the connection is not available. i connect to a router via ethernet port (eth0) using dhcp.
I can use a static configuration but it is a solution that can be difficult for those not very experienced. I don't know how this bug is developed but I felt compelled to report it.

Ps: sorry for my english and if it needs more infomrazioni I will be happy to provide.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Do you get the same with Karmic? Thanks in advance.
