create_unique_token_for_table can't succeed when the SSODatabasePolicy is in effect (login.launchpad.net), because writes to that Store are blocked. If tokens are needed, they need to be AuthToken's.

The question here is why are these users ending on +login.

That page is unecessary on the SSO. I bet there is an Unauthorized exception being raised. Disabling the +login page for the SSO will let us see the real exception.

I also recall another bug being worked on by Salgado, where the openid
destination url was being lost during the registration so on
completion of the registration process people where ending up on
+login (I think ;) )
