Bug Description
Wanted to resume after suspend (STR), but the laptop didn't wake up, just a black screen and nothing worked (no tty changes either). Didn't happen yet with the last few Ubuntu version (7.10 to today usually all worked fine).

Same happened again. But it doesn't always crash on resume... this session was running all day, going into standby at least once before.
