Bug Description

Binary package hint: kopete

After upgrading to Jaunty Beta, suddenly auto-connects to all configured IM services, whereas in Intrepid it only connects after you change your status to Online. This is particularly annoying, if you (like me) have Kopete auto-start on login to KDE.

The problem also occurs after the system resumes from hibernate, i.e. Kopete connects to all IM services even when you have manually disconnected from them before hibernating.

Okay, Kopete has an option now to set the intial status (accessible by Settings -> Configure -> Behavior). Maybe, "Offline" should be made the default?
