Bug Description
Emacs default font is too big. It was already the case in breezy, and still in dapper flight 5.
Please change it to get at least 160 caracters in 1200 pixels width.

I am an emacs user too and I agree with this wish : for example, it's really annoying when you open two buffers vertically.
160 seems ok, 2x80 corresponds to 2 standard terminal size.
