Bug Description

When I upgraded Intrepid to Jaunty beta, the wicd package was removed. Additionally, the network-manager gnome applet did not start on reboot, so I lost wireless access. I restored wireless access by plugging into an ethernet cable and installing wicd.

I installed it from deb http://apt.wicd.net. I didn't have network-manager installed before upgrade.
