Bug Description
Since most free Thai fonts are badly hinted, and the autohinting just makes it worse looking than without, it's better turned off.
Compare the screenshot with autohinting:

and without:
http://
You can see the glyph heights are more uniformed when autohinting is turned off.
So, under th locale, where Thai message would be heavily used, the environment SAL_AUTOHINTING
