firefox crash using google group

hi,
i was trying to upload a file xml in my google group and firefox crashed. I tried to upload that file for more times, but firefox always crashed.
I'm using ubuntu intrepid 8.10.

Is this still a problem for you?

If so, can you try to reproduce the problem in safe mode by starting firefox with the parameter -safe-mode

If the problem persists please try to follow the hints in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs#Crashes to get a backtrace of the crash. Finally describe step by step the procedure to reproduce the problem.
