brasero will not complete cd burning

I am new to Ubuntu and to Brasero. The first CD I burnt worked great, however I have tried many since and have received an error msg each time. Sometimes the music will burn completely, but the CD cannot be closed; other times the files do not completely finish to burn. I'm using Ubuntu 8.10

Thanks for your report, could you run brasero from the command line as: brasero --debug &> brasero-debug.txt perform the operation to reproduce the bug and attach the resulting file to the report?. Thanks in advance
