Bug Description

There's a very bad bug that denies you to use the floppy drive on Intrepid. To use it, you need to do a lot of things, as:

$ sudo su
# modprobe floppy
# mkdir /media/floppy0
# gedit /etc/fstab
and add this line:
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy0 auto rw,user,noauto,exec,utf8 0 0

I refreshed my Ubuntu and it didn't disappeared without do the steps above. I rly hope Ubuntu team fix it.

Closing this bug as intrepid reached EOL in April 2010. please reopen it if you can reproduce it on a still supported release. As far as I know that steps are being done by the installer if you have a floppy drive. If you don't have a floppy drive present on installation time it doesn't add floppy entries as there's no point in adding them. (At least that's how it works here)
