Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

I am running 3.0.8 on Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid (64 bit) and ever since upgrading to Firefox 3.0 the browser randomly disappears. I know there are other bug reports for similar but they were for older versions and this is for the latest one which supposedly fixed "stability and security" - back to the drawing board on the former! Happy to supply more information but as the title says, it's random and seemingly unrelated to a particular activity.

This is VERY frustrating. If anyone has a suitable replacement for Firefox in Ubuntu, please post here.

Hey, this is a WAY old bug, but I wonder if it's relate to the current bug I'm facing right now. try to navigate to www.en-kh.com, a dictionary site to translate between Khmer and English. The browser WILL disappear, and it happens on all browsers
