Bug Description

vala 0.5.7 has a Bug which stops some apps from compiling right, gnome2-globalmenu just for example.

Please consider including the patch... or upgrading to vala 0.60 which should have the fix (not sure)

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug. This issue has been fixed in newer versions of Ubuntu, and Jaunty is EOL, so I am closing this bug task.
