Bug Description

I can't unlock my computer with jaunty, I follow the instruction on the wiki and it was working with Intrepid.

When I try the command: sudo tf-tool --verify

It stays on Initializing... during 5s before ask me to swipe my finger.

My computer is a DELL XPS M1530.

I can confirm this. Same thing with X61 tablet. Worked fine in intrepid, but now takes about 5 seconds to initialize. Every time you login or type sudo it hangs waiting for the reader to initialize.
I am using
0483:2016 SGS Thomson Microelectronics Fingerprint Reader
Thanks
