Bug Description
from the sf forums:
When working with two monitors there is a possibility to work in extended desktop mode.
if the application is sent to the secondary monitor the various windows (location, configuration, search...etc) do not show up.
only when the application is on the main monitor do they show up.

Windows vista entrprise. Nvidia graphics card (on board) with Nvidia control panel.

Fix: on setVisible of a StelDialog, check if the dialog if off-screen and move it on-screen if necessary.
