1001 opened windows after upgrade to jaunty

There is a option in nautilus called "show_desktop".. that i switched off by ubuntu tweak.. and after doing this... LOTS OF windows appear in botton bar on gnome.
I think it is a bug in Jaunty Jackalope.

I hope it help to improve 9.04

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release?
