Bug Description

Hi,
When installing Ubuntu in Japanese, the default PDF viewer, ie. Evince, can't read some files.
xpdf and kpdf could read it correctly.. but evince could not. After a while looking around, i understood that i need to install the poppler-data package. I had to wander in some cryptic webforum for that, which i could do only becase i'm an experienced user.
This is critical that some new user can read PDF on his Ubuntu computer. Therefore, Ubuntu should either makes poppler-data installing default for CJK user, or should switch Evince to xpdf, kpdf or even Adobe Reader for them.
A minimal, unstatisfying solution should be to at least talk about "poppler-data" in the "font" tab of Evince document viewer..
Thanks

Poppler-data is in multiverse since it includes copyrighted (and patent pending) technologies by Adobe.
However, this seems like good news in the right direction from Adobe: http://lwn.net/Articles/354360/
