can't install from live cd

Binary package hint: ubiquity

jaunty beta ubuntu and kubuntu desktop cd install crashes between 80% to 90% in virtualbox and desktop session started in vt9 (although booted with only-ubiquity option)

Generally we'd appreciate it if you could provide the full syslog, not just portions of it.

Anyway, I think this may be bug 349937. Could you try again with a daily build in a few days' time and let us know whether it still breaks?
