Bug Description

Binary package hint: vbetool

Attempted the KernelTeam/SuspendResumeTesting. Only the first resume worked. From that point on vbetool was 100% CPU and no other tests succeded. System crashed on shutdown.

"vbetool post" also breaks my resume on an Acer Travelmate 4002 wlmi with an ATI Radeon Mobility 9700. Details in

Both in jaunty beta and intrepid.

I really need --quirk-vbe-post to wake up. how does that relate to the settings in /etc/default/acpi-support?

Dimitrios, are you asking me to try the SuspendResumeTest again with the latest version? Has anything changed with the kernel/vbetool since 29th March...?
