Folder Icons Don't Stay when Copied

Bug Description
I'm not sure if this is a bug or a wishlist.
I routinely copy files from my external hard drive to my internal one. I have my folders set to individual pictures, these pictures are within the folders themselves. When I copy the whole folder over (including the picture set as the icon), the folder copies over but the icon changes back to the default instead of having the icon I set.
