wireless interface settings in installer do not carry over to installed system

Bug Description

In the installer, it recognizes 2 interfaces: eth0 - wireless, eth1 - wired. I choose only to configure wireless. Once system is installed and reboots, interfaces are now eth1 - wireless eth2 - wired and none of my wireless settings I already typed are available.

The interface names should not change; if they are, that probably explains why the settings are not available

Please attach a copy of the /etc/iftab file generated by the installer, and placed onto your system. Also for good measure, attach the output of "ifconfig -a".

Thanks

Exactly the same happened here. After editing /etc/network/interfaces manually everything worked until i did updates last week, now there is a firmware problem with my Netgear Prism card (i will do a new bug report as soon as i found out more)
