My English is not so good and I think that I can't describe the problem in this language. But, I just had this problem when I tried to download the Last.fm.

I'm using Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex, v8.10.

Thanks for your bug report. There are many "short read" and "corrupted filesystem tarfile" this is due to either a corrupted archive (problems occured during download, bad media, ...) or a corrupted filesystem. There's nothing we can really do with the software to fix this issue, but you can try the following:

- sudo rm /var/cache/apt/archives/libqt4core_4.5.0-0ubuntu4_i386.deb

Then re-upgrading. That should fix your issue.
