Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-orca

Voice is like static, Orca Speech Synthesis is broken - easily repeatable, choose your favorite language, and it will be garbled and sound like static on the radio.

I confirm this bug ; tried with espeack with french voice : Orca speak very accelerated ; on a other hand, the list for choosing the language is open in a broken window : video bug, we can't see the whole list, and furthermore, we can't select some language. Jaunty beta up to date on april, 5th.

I have installed the release version on several machines with the same result. Please fix this bug in 9.04. I run a center for the Deaf-blind.
