I am also seeing this using a Fedora install cd.

Fedora-11-x86_64-Live.iso my shasum matches the CHECKSUM file included in the torrent.

Attaching log files from usb-creator -t.

usb-creator is only designed to work with casper-based CD images. The fact that it does not notify you of this in karmic is bug 457734.

I have the same problem - can't make bootable iso from AntiVirus Rescue CD's, like BitDefender Rescue CD or Kaspersky Rescue Disk. I see note placed in post @up:
"Changed in usb-creator (Ubuntu):
status: Confirmed → Won't Fix"
so those types of iso image's won't be never supported?

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04.
