Bug Description

Binary package hint: lxnm

Well, i have both LXDE and Gnome installed from a long time, and i'm very interested on having both working in the same machine, and the same Ubuntu instalation. Sometimes i login with LXDE, some other times with Gnome, JWM, PekWM, Fluxbox, etc.. I really enjoy a lot the freedom on choosing the window manager any time i do login on Ubuntu, and like to test diferent behaviours of window managers, making and testing themes for each of them, etc.

The problem is, from the last update, a lxnm package appeared as dependence of lxde, and conflicts with the package which has nm-applet (network-manager-gnome), resulting on a lxde remotion (which i didn't enjoyed at all), or the nm-applet remotion, which made me become completelly out of any internet connection.

And as well, i can't understand how conflictable is lxnm to nm-applet, since it has only a sh script...
Please help fixing this problem as soon as possible - i would like to help on it if i was that skilled, and sorry about...

I consider this situation somehow critical...

cheers,
Paulo
