Bug Description
I cannot set a value higher than 245 in the color selection utility used to set the fill color of an object. The slider stops a few pixels before the end of the range and if I click on the spin button near it, it doesn't let me set an higher value.
I'm using Gentoo amd64, with testing enabled and with the GNOME overlay. I noticed the bug only today. It could be related to the upgrade of gtk+ to version 2.16.0, but even a rebuild of Inkscape didn't resolve the bug
I attach a video to show the problem

There are a few things you can do if you find this annoying:
- wait for v0.47 to be released
- use a nightly build; however, these are not available for Gentoo AFAIK, so you would have to compile your own build
- downgrade GTK
I guess none of these is very attractive, but please don't shoot the messenger ;-)
Thanks for reporting though!
