Problem with adding programs

Binary package hint: gnome-app-install

I was using the add/remove program option under applications and all was fine as I browsed the various categories until I choose all applications when there was delay then an error message (gnome-app-install crashed with TypeError in on_treeview_categories_cursor_changed()) I'm using Jaunty alpha 6 fully updated. I've managed to replicate this error so its not a one off.
