Unresponsive during expensive computations e.g. exponentials

Binary package hint: gcalctool

I think this is a low priority deficiency, more than a problem bug.
When I entered 64^33554432= (in scientific mode) gcalctool dutifully began calculating it for me without so much as a "Are you sure we have the time for this?". I did not expect it to actually start immediately, considering the figures involved. Seems to me, some sort of notice that my request would take a while should have been displayed before the attempt.

Thank you for trying to help make Ubuntu better. I'm unsure if this is a bug or a wishlist, but I will confirm it.

I have come to expect GNU/Linux applications to warn me when I've request insanity before doing my ludicrous bidding. Was this bug ever fixed?
