Bug Description

I fact Qt 4.5 is too unstable. Some programs are hard-to-use. A lot of problems were caused by Gtk+ theme (e.g.: #298781), for example with rendering widgets and text. Another example: QDevelop started to work very slowly (the same version on the same computer) after upgrade to Qt 4.5.

Frankly I don't understand why Ubuntu included such buggy version.
They've delayed already stable OO 3.0 for 6 months to test it and included Qt 4.5 just after it was released.
I liked your policy of bringing only stable software...

It won't really be possible to downgrade, and there's no way that we could get a new Qt 4.4.3 package that all qt applications could use in time for Jaunty.

Changed in qt4-x11 (Ubuntu):
status: New → Won't Fix
