Bug Description

I don't get any sound for anything in Dapper flight 4. I also don't get sound in Dapper flight 5. (However with Dapper flight 5 the pannels disappear as well which I have already reported.)

I've attached a screenshot of what is reported in device manager. I can only do this in dapper flight 4 since for dapper flight 5 I can't get pannels.

The sound cards are not muted and the volume is up. Sound was working fine in previous versions of ubuntu (ubuntu hoary)

I should mention this problem is with the Live cd not the install. I haven't tried installing it yet.

Could you please update this bug with whether or not it's still occurring in Dapper Final or, if possible, Edgy Beta?

Thanks

I ended up getting it to work in Dapper. It simply was a problem with alsa settings mutting the sound on startup. I'll try a live Edgy CD and see there are any problems.
