Bug Description
Binary package hint: scribes
When trying to use templates in the scribes editor, templates don't work, and I get an error that scribes crashed, although the main scribes window stays open and keeps working just fine (except that the template doesn't get inserted).
I've been using the python templates downloaded from in the scribes menu, and it seems to happen on all python templates, I don't know about other languages.

In version 4 of scribes, which is on launchpad, I don't have this problem. Version 4 seems perfectly stable, it would probably be a good idea to move this package to version 4, since it is more stable, and to my knowlege, version 3 is no longer under development.
